SINGLE EVENTS
I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN PLANNING AND HOSTING EVENTS for singles for over fifteen years. For the past three years, I have independently hosted my own Friday evening singles events known as TGIFs (Thank Goodness It’s Friday), inviting individual friends and acquaintances, as well as established singles groups to join me. My email list is now almost 2000 strong and growing. These get-togethers are great occasions for meeting other singles in a lively, friendly, and relaxed environment. Additionally, my TGIFs are non-threatening to the newly single, and very conducive for getting a foothold in an established arena without much trauma or fuss. I am happy to spend time with you if you are unfamiliar with the habits and mores of the single world, and pleased to introduce you to others at the event. These events are held most Friday evenings from 5:30 pm to approximately 8:30 pm in local restaurants, hotels, and clubs. Dress is casual, or whatever makes you comfortable. As with a cocktail party, you are free to come and go as your schedule permits. There is no charge for attending.
